Melanin Monroe, famed for her fusion of Southern R&B with Soul and West Coast Trap, recruits Southern Hip Hop legend Trina for her new single/video “Rich Bitch”.

The track exudes the perfect blend of classic west coast vibes with a new wave twist. The catchy hook and hard melodies are sure to resonate long after the track is over. Monroe wastes no time on the track letting everyone know she’s not out here chasing men. Rather, she’s chasing paper and isn’t afraid to play with bands. The video flashes west coast scenes from drop-tops, strip clubs, and beaches.

losLAUREN 718 has returned to the light with another soulful gem called “We Shall Overcome.”

Straight and to the point, LAUREN gives us his origin story in just under 2 minutes flat.

Filmed in the Parkchester section of the Bronx; the video is more like a reflection of old memories that allows viewers to take a stroll down memory lane for a deeper understanding of the MC.

Check out the video below:

"Nobody’s gonna wait on you."

This is the mantra of hip-hop artist losLAUREN 718. It's what prompted him to rhyme for veteran rapper AZ in a nightclub in 2005. It’s part of the motivation that led him to being featured in The Source's Unsigned Hype column in 2006. It's why, not seeing the opportunities he desired, he opted for grad school at Florida A&M University, earning his MBA, and why he joined the Air Force. It's what's been the inspiration behind his company, and record label, Allergic to Failure, since its inception in 2012.

Splitting his time between The Bronx, and Florida, losLAUREN 718's music incorporates both traditional NYC lyricism, and Florida’s history of melody and bass. Listeners will also find a refreshing dose of honesty in his work. He points to a humorous, but authentic, line from his EP "Shades of Blue 2.5", as he raps, “Stingy with dough / fuck Coinstar / I roll my quarters,” noting, “that’s a real fact. I’m not trying to pay 10% for you to roll it up!”

Previously, losLAUREN 718 has worked with a litany of notable DJs and producers, including DJ Green Lantern, DJ Drama, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Ty Fyffe (Foxy Brown, Busta Rhymes), QB Da Problem (50 Cent, Scarface, Joe Budden, Raheem DeVaughn), Nefarious! (Amor Jones), and Chris Prythm (Lloyd Banks, Nipsey Hussle).
